In search of fall colours?


My friend Bill and I decided to hike up the west side of Gold Creek in Golden Ears Park this last weekend. The east side has large areas of deciduous tress and bushes that were likely looking quite colourful. Sadly all we managed to find west of Gold Creek was moss...


... and mushrooms! Well I am exaggerating of course, but there wasn't all that much colour in the end. The above two photos were taken with the excellent Olympus 45mm f/1.8 I recently bought. The last shot below, showing a touch of colour, was shot with the Olympus 12mm f/2, also on my Panasonic GH2.


Hopefully I'll find some more colour in the coming weeks and hopefully the weather cooperates too!
